Ahh...this morning I went to this seminar that my friend invited me to...it was about this new internet company that's booming right now and they're paying their representatives a lot of money. All you need to do is give out homepages...it seemed really cool...it was really cool, but it also seemed too good to be true. Even if it was true, I felt really out of place once I got there. I mean, most of the ppl...well almost everyone in the room...all they thought about was money...once they got money, the next thing on their minds would be how to get more money and get richer. So that's why I felt really uncomfortable there...I guess it's just not for me...even though the people working there make thousands of dollars a month...and they're only teenagers. Something told me that it wasn't for me...."MONEY ISN"T EVERYTHING"....Amber had to knock some sense into me before I actually let that sink in!...some other friends said the same thing. Well, now that this is outta the way...I'll tell you about the rest of my day...which was very fun indeed :). One of my college buddies (Bahar) and I went to the beach to go bodyboarding...last time I went bodyboarding I actually did well! THIS time....I did so badly...I have never swallowed so much sea water in my life!!! Eww...and another thing (ok don't think I'm weird/gross)...but you guys all know that I have a 2 piece string bikini-typish bathing suit...well, the top kept coming off...and then it floated out into the water and I sorta lost it...yup, it happened a coupla times until I finally double knotted the damn thing! VERY embarassing! It was a lot of fun though....hot guys at the beach..hehe. Then after that I went to TGIFriday's and they sang me that very loud, very embarassing "happy bday" song (my friend who works there found out it was my bday the next day). Then after I ate my dinner/snack...I went to do some demos/presentations/work...whatever you wanna call it! hehe...I actually sold some stuff today! A LOT of stuff! Heck yea, I was so happy. Anyways...tomorrow's my bday...no wait! it's 12:38 am right now! HEY, I'm officially 18!!! yippee...I get to go hang out with my friends the entire day...we're going to party and go lasertagging at night...it'll be lots of fun! YOU"RE ALL GOING DOWN!!! Ok, enough excitement for tonight...gotta save some for tomorrow! :)
